The main objective of the trust is to carry charitable work and promote the community development.Development through the support of quality education, awareness health issues and skill development.
Mountain People Foundation also involved in the social service of people awareness campaign which helps in aware the people for various causes like health, education, and social causes and so on, with the help of team of social workers we enable to successfully run this people awareness campaign. This awareness helps the people to aware of various crises of the society and health regarding issues etc.
Body is the gift and it’s donated by nature and we have to keep safe from disease. Because disease frees body give good health and healthy mind for better work and good thinking. In order to fulfill these objectives, the organization is doing the following:
Women empowerment implies the ability in women to take decisions with regard to their life and work and giving equal rights to them in all spheres like: personal, social, economic, political, legal and so on.In any nation, the women empowerment can be measured by extent of their involvement in social, economic and political fields.
Although education is the basis for overall development of a person, but skill development is also the need of the hour as it certainly helps one to compete in this world. India has plenty of youths and each one is blessed with one or the other skill. Hence, need is to focus on skill and explore it for making the person to be self-sufficient.
Mountain People Foundation envisions a world in which all children can pursue a quality education that enables them to reach their full potential and contribute to their communities. Mountain People Foundation seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in low-income countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations, and governments, they develop literacy skills and a habit-of-reading among children.

In an attempt to reach out to the local populace in Kashmir and to help them fight the severe winters, 15 Rashtriya Rifles/7 Sector RR/Kilo Force, organized a programme to distribute huge quantity of essential items at Vilgam Army Camp.
In 2014, Kashmir was hit by devastating floods that shook the entire nation. Mountain People Foundation was among few organizations to start emergency relief work with in few hours. We continue to work in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir with the help of Armed Forces.
In June 2013, Uttarakhand faced devastating floods, which was India’s worst natural disaster since a decade. Mountain People Foundation response teams reached the remote flood affected areas with essential help. We still continue to work in Uttarakhand with various charity programs.
